My favorite music videos have always been those that intertwine performance with story, and this one for the band, Flagship, drives straight down the center of lost love and heartache. I’m also a fan of visual environments that match the sonic size of the music, so one of our goals was to shoot in locations that looked as big as the song sounds. Luckily, we were granted access to the historic (then abandoned) Carolina Theatre in Uptown Charlotte. Music videos are those ever-indie projects that ask an extra mile from all involved, and Christopher and I have so much gratitude for the crew that helped pull this one off.
